Update: The winners of the tickets and CDs are Bea Cote’ and Claire Halsey. Congratulations! Each has won two tickets and a CD.
It’s been a good couple of years for local folk/rock band Time Sawyer. Their first CD, Time for a Change, was named one of the best regional albums of 2011 by WNCW, they’ve torn up the competition in the local battle of the band scene, they’ve played at several festivals, including Reevestock, which members of the band organized, and they’re getting ready to expand their touring footprint with shows up the east coast. Since Time for a Change, they’ve released two more albums (one of them, Come on In, is a contender for WNCW’s 2012 best regional album list) and they’re getting ready to release another in early spring. Be among the first to hear songs from that new album at Looking Glass Artists Center, 405 N. Lee Street in Salisbury, on Saturday, January 12th, 2013, at 8pm. Don’t hesitate to make the drive up to Salisbury – the cost of the gas for the trip will be made up by the dirt-cheap $5 cover. Opening for Time Sawyer is CaLeb Hill. Doors open at 7:30pm.
You can purchase all their CDs on their website and you can learn more about the Salisbury show on Facebook.
