Winner announced for tickets to Carolina Renaissance Festival

Carolina Renaissance Festival is coming back, on weekends from October 4th to November 23th, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Back are the jousting tournaments, 11 stages of entertainment, rides and games, artisan demonstrations and really big turkey legs. Carolina Renaissance Festival is hugely popular and the highlight of many folks’ year. Just a really fun time. Don’t miss it. The festival grounds are located at 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville. Tickets are $22 for adults, $12 for kids age 5-12 and free for kids under 5. Seniors over age 60 and military personnel are $19.

    I tell everyone about Charlotte on the Cheap – I have about 10 new people signing up monthly!

    This is my son’s FAVORITE event in Charlotte – He really wants to take his “Girlfriend” this year – He is 14 and this is his first serious girlfriend would love to win the tickets and give to him for him to take her on a date to the festival!

    My kids love the festival because the sky is Green and the Trees are Blue. The Fairy dust smells like cotton candy and the Turkey Drumsticks walk on stilks. 🙂

    I took my students to the Renaissance Festival a few years back to align with the sixth grade curriculum. With the new standards in place, I would love to win tickets for my husband, as it now aligns with seventh grade. Would be great to experience the event again, but with my hubby.     I love the Renaissance Festival and money is tight this year, so I would soooooo appreciate getting 2 free tickets. Me and my boyfriend went 3 times last year and I really want to go again this year. I even have an outfit complete with elf ears and a mask to wear

    I grew up traveling around the west coast going to these types of festivals as a kid and im proud to say i have carried on the tradition with my daughter. We try and go every year cause its just so fun. My daughter is obsessed with Twig the fairy and she has all her books and a matted framed picture hanging in her room. Would love to win free tickets this year!
