Win tickets to 4u: A Symphonic Celebration Of Prince

We’ve got some concert tickets to give away to Charlotte on the Cheap readers! This is the 3rd of 5 ticket giveaway for upcoming shows at PNC Music Pavilion and Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre. The shows all take place in August, September or October.

The first contest was for tickets to see Kesha and Macklemore and the second was for Pentatonix, with special guests Echosmith and Calum Scott.

Now you have a chance to win two lawn tickets to see 4u: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince.

This is a Questlove-curated Prince Tribute Symphony. Favorite Prince cuts will be performed with a full symphony orchestra, paired with a full live band featuring world-class musicians and vocalists.

It takes place Wednesday, September 12th, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre. These lawn seats normally cost $25 each, for a total value, including fees, of $72.

There are TWO ways to enter to win these tickets, and you can do both of them to have more chances to win.

The winner will be contacted on Wednesday, August 22nd. We’ll need to hear back from you within 48 hours of being contacted, with a full name and email address, so we can transfer the tickets to you. If we don’t hear back in that time frame we’ll move on to another winner. You’ll need a Ticketmaster account to receive the ticket transfer, but if you don’t have one, it’s easy to set up.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Leave a comment on this post. To enter this way, you need to be an email subscriber to Charlotte on the Cheap and you need to enter with the email address you subscribe with. Don’t worry. Your email address will not show up on your comment. Not a subscriber yet? Subscribe now! It’s free and you’ll be in the know about all of the free and cheap things to do. If you win this way, you’ll receive an email from jody@charlotteonthecheap.com. Make sure emails from this address don’t go into your spam folder. (Or check your spam folder.)

2. Find our post on Instagram. Follow us (@cltcheap) on Instagram, like the post, and leave a comment, tagging a friend. You’ll get a contest entry for every comment you leave!  If you win this way we’ll send you a message on Instagram and leave a comment on the Instagram post, tagging you.

You can enter both of these ways if you’d like, and you’ll have more chances to win!

    Prince had such a diverse taste in music. I’d like to believe he would be pleased to hear his music being played by an symphonic orchestra!

    My birthday is 9/11. I can’t think of a better way to spend it than by attending this outdoor event.

    I am a huge fan of Questlove from his work with The Roots to his Questlove Supreme podcast. I have loved Prince (R.I.P) since his “Controversy” days. The concert will be a great way to pay tribute to man who valued the art of instrumentation.
