Both Mint Museum locations are free Wednesday evenings after 5 p.m. On select Wednesday evenings there are also additional events taking place in one of the museums. The next Wine on Wednesdays event is scheduled for August 13th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mint Museum Uptown, 500 South Tryon Street. In addition to the chance to explore the galleries for free, visitors will enjoy music by Sai the Violinist. There will be a cash bar with red and white wine, discounts at the museum shop and one free wine refill.
