Walking Into Womanhood Creative Writing Workshop

Come flex your writing skills for Women’s History Month with a fun creative writing workshop celebrating the impact of women rights and current issues. Enjoy snacks, storytelling, and poetry with local author Crystal Symone.
Selected creative work will be displayed in ImaginOn library for the month of March helping to celebrate Women’s History Month.
Feminist Book Club: Community Read

Join the Feminist Book Club at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market to discuss our library’s community read theme, “food as a connector.” Our book club has chosen our first picture book, Thank You, Omu, in celebration of community read. If interested, we also encourage you to read Buttermilk Graffiti to further explore the theme of food as a connector. Free copies are available at all library locations, while supplies last.
The Feminist Book Club meets monthly to discuss books written by women, for women, and about women. All people are welcome.The program is provided in partnership with Myer’s Park library staff and the local non-profit organization, We Rock Charlotte. Looking for the book?
