Educators are invited to attend a free workshop, Project WILD, at EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station, 13339 McGuire Nuclear Station Road, Huntersville, on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The program is open to all interested K-12 educators, including classroom teachers, environmental educators, resource agency staff, park and nature personnel, teaching fellows, college students and faculty and youth leaders. There are no prerequisites for this free workshop.
The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
Participants receive .6 continuing education units (CEUs) for attending the workshop and .4 CEUs after completing classroom assignments for a total of 1 CEU.
Space is limited and registration is required. The workshop will be held outdoors. This program is for adults only.
