Your Neighborhood Orchestra is a collaboration between local composers, songwriters, musicians and choreographers.
Your Neighborhood Orchestra, a part of Charlotte New Music Festival, provides a colorful orchestral bridge connecting different audiences and diverse sections of the music community.
“Your Neighborhood Orchestra explores and interprets incredible original music by local artists in Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Latin, Soul, Bollywood, and more,” says Elizabeth Kowalski, composer & Executive Artistic Director. “It’s basically a snapshot of the original-music landscape in the Charlotte area. We look forward to sharing a meaningful experience with our audiences – something we’ve crafted with resilience, passion, realness, love, and unity.”
In 2021, Your Neighborhood Orchestra will present five livestream events, All are free to watch, and will be available on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and CharlotteNewMusic.org.
